UltraWave and Universal Design

The sample site themes build upon a new underlying template called UltraWave. UltraWave incorporates structure and styling for Universal Design. Universal Design seeks to make web content "barrier-free", which means making sites accessible to all challenged users. Those who are challenged include not only the millions who are physically or cognitively impaired but also seniors, non-native speakers, and those in other countries and cultures (localization).

Universal Design has benefits beyond helping sites to meet the myriad of web accessibility standards: it helps to break technology barriers as well as human ones. Universal design is the basis for being able to transform pages and content to into new outputs and displays your members will need in the future, such as print presentation, net book usage, and even cell phone applications.

Important: UltraWave themes support iPart-based sites, which are an alternative to the Public view. They do not support existing Public views.
